How Does Your Idea Fit Reality?

Every entrepreneur has about a million questions after coming up with a potential business idea, but many entrepreneurs lack to think about how the future business will affect their lives. The entrepreneurs also lack to think about the future of the company and how the growth will influence the entrepreneur’s lifestyle. If you have an idea, how to you foresee the future business?

Also ask yourself the following:

1. What will the company require from you as far as time, money, and other expectations when you first start it?


2. How much risk are you willing to take in regards to your idea?


3. How will your business operate? Will you run it from your home, rent or buy an office, outsource some tasks?


4. If you have business partners, what will you expect of each partner in regards to operations, management, financing, etc.?


5. Would you be willing to try out your product or service if you were the customer?


6. Do you have all the skills to set up the business or will you need to rely on others’ to help you get set up. What costs will you incur?


7. Is there a specific niche your business will cater to? How will you market to that niche?


8. If you are starting a web-based or international business, how do you plan to effectively deliver your product or service to the clientele?


9. As your company grows, where will you find staff? Try to project how much staff will be needed after 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, etc.


10. Do you personally have a skill that you can use to the advantage of uplifting the company’s “edge?”
